Policy relating to the UN Agenda Global Development Goals and Targets relating to Indigenous Peoples in Australia and New Zealand. Thus exploring how Indigenous communities are developing their own Agenda 2030 Indicators for national governance and goal setting. The UNDRIP was endorsed, implemented to drive the worldwide global agenda, reframe policy relating to Indigenous Peoples having their own UN Agenda 2030  indicators.

Watene is a lecturer in Philosophy at Massey University, researching contemporary political philosophy and development studies, with a commitment to Indigenous Philosophies and Development, a previous Research Fellow with the James Henare Maori Research Centre at Auckland University. In 2020 the rethinking of UN Agenda 2030 SDGs for the Artic Indigenous Peoples was described as ‘Reshaping SDGs in light of the ‘New Normal’. Prioritizing the relevance of the Arctic’s environmental and social systems that are interlinked to other parts of the globe. Thus referring to open dialogue with Artic Stakeholders engaging with equal partnership under the guidance of the Artic Indigenous Peoples. Adding five more global development goals to the 17 that already exist.

These being – Sustainable Governance and Indigenous Rights, Resilient Indigenous Societies, Livelihoods and Knowledge systems, Life on Ice and Permafrost, Equity and Equality in Access to Natural Resources, and Investment in Youth and Future Generations. The Indigenizing of the Artic with Agenda 2030 SDGs.. Global Development Goals.( Including the Artic in the Global Agenda). April 2018 Reference was made to ‘Agenda 2030 from the Artic Perspective’ an event at the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues and also ‘Indigenous Self-governance working alongside Agenda 2030 Global Development Goals’. February 2019 as UN SDG Agenda 2030 Indigenous Peoples workshop was held for member of the ‘Artic-FROST and Artic-COAST networks. The Aotearoa NZ Centre for Indigenous Peoples and the Law was established in 2017, this is a  centre hosted at the Faculty of Law Auckland University. Promotes student engagement in Indigenous issues, Indigenous Rights such as referred to in International organizations such as the UN.

The centre collaborates with other universities and international scholars that focus on Indigenous Peoples issues and training for judges on legal development relevant to Maori and Indigenous Peoples in advancing Indigenous rights legally. The centre also established the Indigenous Impact Programme in 2019, this is a legal education clinic where students gain first  hand experience of working with clients and on law reform, access to justice issues for Maori.

Auckland Council Indigenous Biodiversity Strategy refers to implementing indigenous biodiversity on council land, to conserve Indigenous Ecosystems and Sequences. Auckland Council Agenda 21 (UN) a plan to implement a principle of sustainable development, July 2012 Auckland Councils Indigenous Biodiversity Strategy. The Resource management Act (RMA) requires decision makers to take into account the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi. However I will add to this by stating that Principles and Partnership were not created in the original Māori version of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Legislations and the Judicial created the Principles and Partnership in the 1980’s. The RMA decision makers must take into account the relationship of Maori and their culture, traditions with their ancestral lands, water, sites, waahi tapu and other taonga, with particular regard to kaitiakitanga.

PURPOSE OF THE PAPER INCLUDED: The Globe is not warming, contrary to widespread belief. Increased CO2 emitted from mankind’s activities is not contributing to or causing calamitous climate events. Man-made, or ‘anthropogenic’ global warming (AGW) is simply not occurring. Global Warming is a scam and a hoax, its being used to generate fear and panic, those behind the movement use it to control peoples belief’s and for financial gain. An uniformed and unquestioning mass of the world’s population have fallen victim to significant propaganda, causing widespread misconception. Global warming and climatic change campaigners, largely the United Nations Independent Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) have mounted one of the most well funded, massive propaganda campaigns in history, and with a compliant media on their side.

There is a groundswell of climate realists. In the USA, the lies of Al Gore who has netted hundreds of millions of dollars advocating for global warming has been revealed, and the Gallup Poll, a widely recognized barometer of American opinion shows environmental concerns about global warming are now as low as they were 25 years ago. This paper collates information to show how the current levels of local widespread belief has come about, and provides clear evidence that the existing political agenda’s in New Zealand and elsewhere should cease.

2. Fact-how much the globe has really warmed in the last 25 years (shows a graph) .. Global warming is not happening to any greater extent than it did for hundreds of years and has not occurred at all in the last 18 years. Remote Sensing Systems (RSS) is a world leader in processing and analyzing microwave data collected by satellite microwave sensors. The RSS mission to provide research quality geophysical data to the global scientific community. The RSS graph shows the consistency of the last 18 plus years of no global warming.

CARBON DIOXIDE: Is naturally 00.04% of air-400 parts per million (ppm). CO@ has increased from 350 ppm to 400 ppm in the last 50 years, but this is inconsequential given it has been as high as 7000 ppm of the earths air in the past. CO2 is produced by the decomposition of plant matter and released from the oceans and other natural processes including volcano’s.  Historically and for millions of years CO2 levels have been over 3000ppm and sometimes around 7000ppm. Ice ages occurred at these times, as did normal temperatures. The higher CO2 had no correlation to the planet’s temperature- life kept evolving as normal. The IPCC has flawed thing

Dr Patrick Moore founder of Greenpeace is now a climate realist said in 2013 “the optimal level of CO2 for plant growth is 1600ppm, four times than the level today” 400ppm is a starvation diet for plants and they die under 150ppm. In 2014 Moore said “This is why greenhouse growers purposely inject CO2 rich exhaust from their gas and wood fired heaters into the greenhouse, resulting in a 40-80 per cent increase in growth. The idea that CO2 is Zero and does not exist would be catastrophic, this is absolutely preposterous.

Furthermore, it is not conclusive that increased CO2 in the atmosphere is caused by man, it is more likely caused by other natural factors. Atmospheric scientist Murray Salby (2011) says of increasing atmospheric CO2 “The changes in CO2 track ocean surface temperature, not global carbon emissions. Burning fossil fuels is not increasing atmospheric CO2. Recovery from the Little Ice Age, driven by the Sun is causing the oceans to release CO2. It is temperatures driving the CO2 release, not the other way round. Just as it always has been. Salby has since been dismissed from Sydney University for making these statements.

In 2017 the TaxPayers Union launched a petition to end taxpayers funding the Clinton Foundation, attracting 3,500 signatures. For a population of 5 million I personally feel far too many people have become apathetic and trust the NZ Parliamentarians.

EXTINCTION REBELLION:- Who donates to Extinction Rebellion? A UK Billionaire and a Rock Band named Radiohead and of course there are many other major donors, Sir Christopher Hohn one of the richest men in the UK has given large amounts of money to Extinction Rebellion.

NEW ZEALAND’S IWI ELITE: The Iwi Chairs Forum, alongside the Māori Council, the Māori Women’s’ Welfare league, and urban Māori organizations, have also formed a National Māori Climate Network to support Māori community resilience.

AUCKLAND COUNCIL: Is a member of C40 Cities global network that promotes ‘plant based’ foods. Migration through global cities. Indigenous Biodiversity that includes public, private property and your backyard. A global guide for Climate mitigation namely Project Drawdown is a very comprehensive plan for Global Local and Central Government. In 2019 approx., 170,000  kiwi’s at over 40 events across NZ marched for ‘global boiling’ prompted by councils nationwide included was Auckland Council. AUCKLAND COUNCIL: 3^rd April 2023 Extinction Rebellion made a submission to Auckland Councils Budget Consultation, calling themselves the ‘global climate action movement that aims for urgent action. The group was established in Auckland in 2018. In their submission they refer to ‘ the world being on the brink of catastrophic warming, referring to a UN Report. Refers to the cutting of Auckland Council budget one of the proposals being ‘No longer providing early childhood education services”. Extinction Rebellion giving themselves self praise stating “they put  pressure on Auckland Council to declare a Climate Emergency”. Then we have Auckland Council referring to sixth IPCC Predictions (UN) Report in September 2022.
