Climate Cheat Report authored by the Morgan Foundation April 2016 Refers to NZ Govt’s reputation of honesty and transparency being at serious risk internationally, as to their purchasing of fraudulent climate credits by organized crime in the Ukraine & Russia

NZ expected to use these fraudulent credit for their 2020 emissions reduction pledge, to go on using the proceeds of the crime as part of the targets of UN Agenda 2030. The NZ Govt deliberately knowingly cheating the global consensus to combat climate change until the new dawn arrives. Treating the whole process with contempt a dubious activity that was described as unacceptable. Without doubt the NZ Government was called a ‘Climate Cheat’. That NZ Govt was a willing participant in wholesale climate fraud.

In Ukraine and Russia it was overcome with fraud and corruption, they already had a bad name for this, and it was well known. But NZ became the largest purchaser of Ukrainian, Russian fraudulent credits, even when other countries backed away, they continued. This was a National led govt, and thy claimed that they were meeting international obligation through to at least 2020. NZ’s Clean Green reputation, corruption free was at serious risk as being willing participant of fraud.

The fraud sent the price of carbon units in NZ Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) to virtually zero. NZ Govt putting $200 million in the hands of foreign criminals to avoid NZ’s obligation to reduce emissions. Reporting that there has been no environmental benefit. Some companies were issued free emissions units by the NZ Govt whilst exploiting the cheap feign fraudulent credits hence profiting from pollution.at the expense of the NZ Tax Payer. Morgan Foundations report states that the fraudulent emissions credits that NZ Govt purchased from Ukraine & Russia

Have produced little to no climate benefit. Morgan Foundation suggested a three point plan to the government as to putting the hole fraud to bed once and for all. 1) Dump the Junk. 2) Burn the Bank-remove the 2 for 1 deal that govt had set up and freeze companies free allocation of NZ credits for a year to clear the backlog 3) Keep it Clean- Keep the ETS closed to international trade until the system has integrity. But in the meantime, NZ Govt could work closely with some of their Pacific neighbours to develop bilateral agreements.

It is reported that NZ is one of the most heavily exploited in the Kyoto Protocol offsetting mechanisms.  Confirming Report also refers to the Stockholm Environmental Institute publication  which paints another ugly picture relating to plausibility and questionability , the exaggerations of actual emissions reductions, a low environmental integrity

Ukraine & Russia together accounted for 90% of total ERUs issued, the percentage of dodgy credits were more than 89%. They were taking credit for projects that had already happened several years before registering for ERU’s.  For Ukraine and Russia – which together accounted for 90% of the total ERUs issued – the percentage of dodgy credits was even higher: more than 89% and 82% respectively (Figure 4).. Over-estimating emissions reductions, deliberately increasing streams of waste gases from industrial plants. Yet the UN gave Russia and Ukraine the stamp of approval.

Rules allowed countries to largely establish their own rules for approving projects without international oversight. These fraudulent emissions credits were known as ‘Hot Air’. On NZ Govts part it was no mistake, they deliberately participated as Climate Cheats. Guardian News reported ‘UN Official called this all organized crime, saying Russia and Ukraine’s carbon markets had been plagued by ‘significant criminal energy’.

 Interpol had published a guide in 2013 warning that ‘Carbon markets, like other financial markets are also at risk of exploitation by crims due to the large amount of money invested  the lack of oversight and transparency. That Russia & Ukraine have been riddled with corruption. 2011 Transparency International Corruption Perception Index ranked Russia 143rd and Ukraine 152nd out of 182 countries.  NZ Govt had purchased meaning less pieces of paper. The EU shut the gates on Ukraine and Russia but NZ did not. Therefore NZ Govt is known as the ‘worst climate cheat’, exploiting cheap dogy emissions credits. NZ the top buyer of fraudulent credits, by a large margin.

NZ Govt banked on the assumption the carbon credits they purchased would become more valuable in the future, when the flood of foreign credits got cut off. (Surely these days if that was an individual it would be called money laundering- some sort of criminal activity?) NZ Govt main purpose was actually to indirectly accumulate huge quantities of cheap fraudulent credits to meet its climate commitments for years to come in the future. They knew what they were doing was fraudulent and continued down this path. There were calls for NZ Govt to stop this but they were repeatedly rejected. The question is “Whether to NZ Govt was culpable or simply negligent?” (Morgan Foundation). Some creamed off the profits from the fraudulent cheap dodgy emissions units, others exploited them.

Many Iwi/Maori had received the dogy emission credits as part of Treaty settlements, leading to a threat of a $600million Waitangi Tribunal claim against the government, again robbing tax payers pockets.

 All in all driving profit from pollution at tax payers expense. Some companies won twice from a deal with the govt, they purchased these cheap foreign carbon credits to save them for a rainy day when they could profit highly on them at a later date when they would be worth much more. The Govt knowingly, as participants watched them get wealthier on these dodgy carbon credits. These companies win twice from this deal. Not only have they cut costs by buying cheap fraudulent foreign credits, they will also profit from using or selling the New Zealand units in a few years when they are worth more. The Government stood by and watched on, did nothing.

This was called the ‘Long Con’, who says crime does not pay. Who says the government does not act criminally.? The projected surplice remaining of these dodgy credits in 2020 was $93.6 million credits). Did the weak willed politicians ignore this. What did they do? How did they put their criminal type behaviour to bed, or did they?. NZ Geo. Com reported . The Russian and Ukraine carbon credits were quickly denounced as hot air, but NZ companies were the worlds most avid buyers. 12 top NZ Companies spotted the opportunity, snapping up ‘hot air’ credits for just a few cents, well below the domestic rate. Therefore could increase their emissions without penalty.. The fraudulent certificated eroded most of the value from the domestic market real ones.

A report from Morgan Foundation titled ‘Climate Cheats; singles out Fonterra, BP, Z Energy, Genesis, Contact Energy, NZ Steel as the biggest consumers of the fraudulent credits. The international community had already distanced itself from the Ukraine, Russia Scam.. 2020 Kyoto ended, the Paris Agreement took force, offering countries the option to carry any emission  credits forward.

Did the NZ Govt, companies surrender their credits that they knowingly purchased from climate crims.? The govt misleading the people of NZ about integrity and transparency, as they entered a dodgy carbon haven. The NZ Govt was reckless, negligent a willing party in fraudulence..The Morgan Foundation Report ‘Climate Cheats’ was about taking the govt to task for their fraudulent behaviour.. Some experts say that the govts participation in this scam , the govts policy settings made the ETS Scheme morally bankrupt and ineffective.. The whole ETS System appears to lack accountability. Obviously the Green Party were well aware of the National Party’s antics, James Shaw reported 16^th August 2016 – The Green Party is calling n th National arty to trade good carbon credits for bad ones, to ensure integrity of our global commitment to cut pollution (Referring to the Morgan Foundation Report)

Greenpeace NZ climate campaigner Simon Boxer said New Zealand has continued to use the dodgy credits because they’re cheap..”The ETS was a policy that was purposefully made to sound boring and dense so people wouldn’t dig deeper into it, but in reality it does not clean up pollution, it allows companies to make a profit from pollution, the ETS scheme is a scam, a climate crime” he said. Of course all the political cronies in the cesspit of Wellington knew about it, was not hidden, they are also participants in Climate Cheats, they did nothing to stop it.

Australian Senator Michael Roberts published an article on UN Agenda 21 and UN Agenda 2030 calling this a conspiracy theory. Mainstream Media is corporate owned and extremely wealthy has much wealth to gain from supporting, promoting the global elite and are key players of World Economic Forums Global Redesign otherwise known as ‘The Great Reset’ and the Fourth Industrial Revolution -Global Governance (Guardian News 14/9/2016). Referencing Agenda 21/2030 (UN) as threatening to demolishing Sovereign Nations through UN Agenda 21, 2030 .that “people are waking up to the UN destroying our national sovereignty” referring to the UN Lima Declaration and the  1992 Rio Declaration (UN) – the implementation for a 21^st century global governance which is known as ‘UN Agenda 2030’

Hence Senator Michael Roberts also accused all UN Member States of sneakingly implementing Agenda 2030 blaming the Keating Govt as having implemented this under the guise of biodiversity’ and that property rights would be stolen, regulations would be passed to control people. That  climate alarmism would push UN Member Nation States be  foreign controlled, he called the UN Paris Agreement as sham. Hence using the word ‘sustainability’ to pass regulations. Roberts wanted Australia to leave the United Nations.

UN Agenda 21 like UN Agenda 2030 both being non-binding agreements are commitments made by those govts that have ratified them, once entered into that nations domestic policies becomes law (Legislative Acts). Trump said in 2017 that UN Agenda 2030 to cut carbon emissions is a “draconian financial economical burden that is imposed on America”. However once legally binding some parts with Agenda 2030 are not legally binding. The documents text is littered with modal verbs ‘should’- ‘shall’  – may’ etc., that carry a different weight. ‘Shall’ being the big one. ‘Shall’ obliges countries to undertake action within the agreement. The Paris Accord (UN) contains 117 ‘shall’s’.

The Paris Agreement reads “Each Party ‘shall’ prepare, communicate and maintain successive nationally determined contribution that it intends to achieve”. Nationally determined contributions equates to the term “UN Climate uses references to ‘pledges’ how they aim to accelerate those pledges.  UN Member States have committed to submit their nationally determined contribution, update them every 5 years as to the actions they have each taken to reduce carbon emissions, however developed countries must do this annually

Art., 4 “Support shall be provided to developing countries” Billions of dollars over a period of years, this pledge has been made collectively among all developed nations (Paid by Tax Payer dollars). The goal posts have been shifted in many cases from 2030 to 2050. All UN Member States are endorsing promoting UN Agenda 2030. This is not a conspiracy theory. At the expense of NZ Tax Payers and the livelihoods of small businesses, farming communities and the plundering of New Zealand all political cronies in the cesspit of Wellington have jumped on the UN bandwagon.

Jacinda Ardern was the first to introduce UN Agenda 2030 into NZ’s Domestic Policies making it legally binding, she also urged other UN Member States to follow her lead. (NZ Guineapig State). Socialist, leftist will deny that there is a risk of destroying sovereign nations and individual property rights. Many will call UN Agenda 2030  a utopian nightmare. The Guardian News earlier stated that the US pushed the idea of Agenda 21(UN), as being communism under disguise.

Gore’s ‘Inconvenient Truth’ showed animations of Florida, San Francisco, Shanghai, Netherlands, Bangladesh and Manhattan all being swamped by oceans. Gore said “IF” Greenland and Antarctica broke up and melted, then talked about ‘rising seas’ and a hundred million refugee’s fleeing from ‘rising seas’

Biden addressing the US Senate in 1987 predicted a catastrophe of Biblical Proportions for the Entire World from Global Warming, he said “In the next new years global warming, should it occur in accord with the direst predictions would be a catastrophe of biblical proportions for the entire world”.

1989 a Senior UN Environmental Official said that a UN study predicted “Entire Nations Would Be Wiped Off The Face Of The Earth From Rising Seas If The Global Warming Trend Is Not Reversed By Year 2000’. That ‘coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ‘eco-refugees’ that would threaten political chaos said Noel Brown from the New York office of the UN Environmental Program (UNEP). (Peter James Spielmann ‘UN Predicts Disaster if Global Warming Not Checked Associated Press 6/29/89)

UNEP stated there was only a 10 year window (the window of opportunity for the New Normal) before the greenhouse effect would go beyond human control, that nations They said the government only had a 10 year window before the greenhouse effect would go beyond human control, that nations globally would be wiped off the map and millions of people displaced, 1/6^th of Bangladesh would be flooded, displacing a ¼ of its 90 million population. Predicted that warming melts polar ice caps, ocean levels will rise up to 3 feet, enough to cover the Maldives and other flat island nations (UN Official Associated Press Interview reference to Coastal Regions). 1995 UN Study predicted ‘Rising Seas’ would cause most of the beaches on the East Coast of the US to disappear by 2020.

In 2009 Al Gore claimed new research showed the Artic could be ice free within 5 years. Al Gore was speaking at the Copenhagen Climate Change Summit.  He told the conference “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr. [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.’”  (Frank James, “Al Gore Slips On Artic Ice; Misstates Scientist’s Forecast,” NPR, 12/15/09)  Al Gore announced on 15^th December 2009 said he reported wrongly “it’s unclear how he arrived at this, I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this”

John Kerry Secretary of State appeared with a French Official publicly said “There is only 500 days to avoid Climate Chaos”. (31^st May 2014) The French Foreign Minister remarked “President Obama and John Kerry and himself had committed to reach success on this important matter”  In 2019 Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Greta Thunberg predicted ‘The world will end by 2030, hence pushing UN Agenda 2030, accelerating the partnership agreement signed by the UN with the World Economic Forum to accelerate UN Agenda 2030 (Replace the Free-market global economy with Multi-stakeholder Corporate Capture).  Greta Thunberg claims in her 2019 book ‘No-one is too small to make a difference’ refers to UN Agenda 2030 “we will be in a position to set off an irreversible chain reaction beyond human control, that will lead to the end of civilization as we know it”

Media headlines that are not repeated today, perhaps far to many people have woken up to the wealthy global propaganda machine:- “It’s the time of famines, they will get worse and most disastrous by 1975. Birth control may have been accomplished by making it involuntary by sterilizing agents into staple foods, drinks, water. Roman Catholics should be pressured into birth control (Salt Lake City Tribune 17/11/1967 reported Stanford University biologist Paul Ehrlich-(Socialist/Marxist).

Pushing global populations to change their behaviour by using continuous tactics of fear through crisis events. (New York Times 10/8/1969).  Scientist predicts a new ice age by the 21^st Century. Air pollution may obliterate the sun, cause a new ice age in the first third of the next century (The Boston Globe 4/4/1970).

The gradual rise in sea level is threatening to completely cover the Indian Ocean nation  of 1,196 small islands within the next 30 years. As drinking water will dry up. (Canberra Times 26/9/1988-Environmental Affairs Director). Rising seas could obliterate nations by year 2000 reported UN Officials (Associated Press 1989). The west side highway that runs alongside the Hudson River will be under water, windows will be taped up, there will be no birds there, however there will be more police cars. Crime happens when heat increases. Restaurants would have signs saying “Water by request only”(1988 Jim Hansen Climate Scientist).  The Pentagon tells Bush “Climate will destroy us, Britain will be Siberia in less than 20 years. By 2020 there will be mega droughts, famine will erupt worldwide. 5 to 10 years Artic will be free of Ice in the summer  (24/6/2008 NASA Scientist and his colleague scientists-The Guardian News 21/2/2004)

Gordon Brown reported that we have fewer than 50days to save our planet from catastrophe  US Navy predict summer ice-free artic by 2016. New as she announced Zealand’s Prime Minister calls a ‘Climate Emergency’ announcing that “Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time” thus pledging a ‘carbon neutral government by 2025.(The Guardian 1/12/2020).

Children in Britain’s schools being treated for ‘Eco Anxiety’ a new mental health condition causing nightmares, fear, anxiety- the teaching of climate alarmism is schools. Schools strike for Climate Action worldwide- schools teach students to make Climate Alarmism placards. School ‘Strike for Climate’ also known as ‘Fridays for Future’ (FFF), Youth for Climate, Climate Strike or Youth Strike for Climate is an international movement of school students who participate in demonstrations demanding political leaders to take action on climate.

I personally believe this is deliberate psychological warfare of UN Nation populations worldwide using extreme global fear tactics to enable compliancy-control of civil society- the replacing of the Free-market Economy for a UN/WEF Corporate Capture of the worlds Economies using financial systems such as the IMF and World Bank and other large financial institutions. (WEF Global Redesign). The destruction, plundering of Sovereign Nation States, the plundering of farming communities and small businesses and a mass exodus from rural areas to urban/city UN Human Habitat Smart Cities that are highly surveillance those  ‘controlling citizens lives’. Marsden Point Oil Refinery was established in 1964 Come November 2021 it was confirmed that Marsden Point Oil Refinery would be shut down in April 2022—no longer operational in supplying the domestic security of oil and other products essential for the security, economy and infrastructure of New Zealand, instead we would have to rely on shipping imports.

Referring to the shutdown Wayne Butson -General Secretary- Rail & Marine Transport Union said “the closure was driven by short term interests of fuel companies who owned the refinery, thus undermining fuel security for NZ. A big risk of supply chain disruptions has left NZ dangerously exposed, totally dependent on refined oil being shipped in from overseas tankers. The Australian Govt had decided to step in when two of their refineries were threatened to close, underwriting them to ensure Australia’s fuels security.

NZ Government could have done just the same, but they chose not to. Marsden Point Refinery produced premium, regular petrol, diesel, automotive fuels, kerosene, jet fuel,  fuels (LFO, HFI and HBFO) Bitumen and CO2 for food packaging etc., as by products. Marsden’s produced a large proportion of NZ’s CO2 for packaging of meats, cheese, fizz for carbonated drinks etc., CO2 prohibits bacterial growth in food packaging. January 2023 the government said CO2 supplies are being rationed. Todd Energy is Taranaki was the only other supplier that too was shut down.

Since then bottled CO2 and dry ice has skyrocketed in price, this posing a problem for food producers & craft beer manufacturers. CO2 is also used to chill some medical supplies during transport. Te Whatu Ora Procurement Director said “hospitals were low users of CO2 but would be effected by the closure of Marsden however they were prioritizing supplies for critical services.

Gas distributors are also prioritizing crucial-use customers. Megan Woods was warned by officials that the domestic supply of CO2 would be affected by the closure of Marsden. Meat companies were reported to be struggling to obtain CO2. The Transport Unions renewed calls for Marsden Point Refinery to be reopened to return to operational status even if its necessary for govt ownership.

 Marsden had been providing 70% of NZs bitumen for NZ roads, 30% was imported, now 100% is imported. The imported bitumen has caused costs to rise on road maintenance. Reports were becoming a common occurrence of potholes and seal sticking to car tyres.

Bugger the roads it appears that Carbon Net Zero 2050 is top of the list, cycles ways, wider footpaths, making special ways for E scooters, walkers etc., deleting car spaces and shutting main drags off to motor vehicles in city shopping area’s. The Governments extra hundreds of millions on these projects.

The Govt determined to get Kiwi’s out of their cars, its no longer a nudge, or a shove it’s a bloody push.  National like Labour and Greens are on the same page.

Stuff NZ reported 4/5/2022 $2 billion on cycle lanes to achieve Aucklands Climate Goal. May 24^th 2022 research funds ‘cycling is the happiest way to trave. Try it with three children on a wet windy cold day. NZ was reported to be the first country in the world to fund pop-up bike lanes. Other cities in NZ can apply for 90% funding from central govt for this.

Walking, running, E Scooter, Cycling just get people out of their cars and also on to public transport. Public transport services have been seriously disrupted.   And petrol prices up at the pump, hence food prices significantly higher, as are service providers charging more.

Increased cost of $4.4 billion for City-Rail Link. Uncertainty over funding $1.4Billiob Eastern Busway. $1 Billion hole in transport budget. Auckland Transport share of public transport revenue falling from 40% to 20%.   No money to address Kainga Ora Housing developments. Many projects now delayed. Take a hike, ride your bike, e scotter, walk but cannot rely on public transport.

RNZ reported 8/4/2022 confirmation ‘NZ Government have already started digging into our reserve supplies which are held in Spain and UK.  Govt phasing out fossil fuels with clearer guidance consulting with Iwi COP27..NZ unsuccessfully sought a global agreement to phase down fossil fuels.

An amended law sets out the minimum requirements for Iwi engagement. Iwi will receive opportunities to review, discuss all companies mining crown owned resources, said Megan Woods.

So what about fuel security, the governments not talking about this one. ‘NZ reliance on shipping lanes to stay open, not be disrupted are all important for NZ. Think of the massive consequences of no petrol for your car, no petrol for delivery trucks, no petrol to get to work, to get the kids to school, to go see your family, to socialize, go to work., buy the essentials like food etc.,  Shipping disruptions are a real risk due to the climate doom and gloom, the green cult.

As ocean going shipping is being targeted as to greenhouse emissions.  Shipping is about to become a lot more costly and this will have a significant effect on global supply chains. It is reported we should prepare ourselves for this (Harvard Business Review 21/10/2022). The rules of International Maritime Organization (UN) and the European Union aim to curb shipping emissions, there will be big implications.

Maritime transport is the backbone to international trade. And we rely on it for our fuel and other necessities. Serious disruption risks breaking NZs social, economic backbone, it would be catastrophic if this were to happen. UN IMO stated that environmental shipping accounts for 3% of global greenhouse gases. That these emissions could rise by 250% by 2050 if nothing is done.  Can you see the crisis and compliancy-control that will follow if shipping is seriously disrupted globally.? January 2023 new UN IMO rules were implemented. Individual ships to measure, report carbon intensity in the form of ‘Annual Efficiency Ratio’ (AER).

The function of a ships dead weight tonnage. (DWT) in cargo, crew, freshwater,  food, passengers, supplies etc., and how much and what sort of fuel used in the past year. This annual submission is mandatory for ships over 5,000 Dead Weight Tonnage (DWT). The AER is used to grade the ship- Grades A B C D E. ABC is graded as compliant for that year. D  Grade has three years grace to become compliant to the rules. E grade is given a year to become compliant. If ships are not compliant then they will be removed and possibly scrapped. Ships may well have to be redesigned, change the way they operate, less distance, less Dead Weight Tonnage, less ports of call, reducing speed and eliminating some services.

The grading criteria is reported ‘it will become stricter’, therefore a ship with a good grade one year in a couple of years may not be compliant to the stricter rules. . MBIE NZ Government imposes 21 days stockholding on diesel, 24 days for petrol. 24 days for jet fuel. Reserves are held  in Spain and UK. Decarbonizing of shipping risks huge disruptions and significantly much higher costs.  Fuel that’s imported directly into New Zealand comes mainly from refineries in Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific, primarily via the Singaporean and Korean . NZs oil reserves are equivalent to 1.1 times its annual consumption. However these are stored overseas, and NZ Govt have already dipped into them.

RNZ report 8^th April 2022 ‘NZ confirms oil reserve release. NZ releases another 483,000 barrels from its emergency oil stocks. This followed a similar release in March of 369,000 barrels. NZ is ranked globally 75^th in the world for oil reserves and has 64,100,000 barrels. The Insanity of  shutting down NZ’s Fuel Security did any of those political cronies in the toilet bowl try to stop this ‘NO’. I believe they are  All GUILTY as charged.

4^th December 2019 NZ Govt join IMO (UN) Convention to reduce Ship Emissions, speech in parliament by Julie Anne Genter Transport Minister. Subject to completion of the Parliamentary treaty examination process, New Zealand will sign up to Annex VI of MARPOL, an International Maritime convention for the prevention of pollution from ships. “It will give Maritime NZ the power to inspect foreign ships for compliance with new em6th Augusssion standards and take enforcement action if necessary. New Zealand Fuel Security status kept under wraps RNZ OIA Request govt refused to release the ministerial briefing about how much fuel NZ had, or should keep on shore. Rationing, such as careless days that were imposed in 1979 fuel crisis, might not be in the too far distance, when it comes to decarbonizing the economy. What about decarbonizing global shipping? How’s quickly our economy could fall apart being deprived of fuel supplies. We have 24 days of fuel supplies in NZ. CLIMATE CHANGE: Australian Summit held a meeting on 29^th March 2022 as to a matter of ‘Urgency on Climate Change’ . The ‘mining and burning of coal, oil and gas being the primary cause of global heating and is causing more frequent and more intense floods, heatwaves, fires and to protect livelihoods, no new coal, oil and gas projects should be started in Australia’. I have copied those speeches given by Senators who  opposed the Senates Motion I have included their speeches in the Senate

Senator McMahon (Northern Territory) “As always the Greens over exaggerate on Climate Change for their own selfish political purposes. Its disgraceful to politicalise natural disaster and tragedies, trying to score political points on the back of human misery and suffering. Shame on you, shame on you, shame on you for doing that. That’s terrible. He referred to the claims about recent flooding, climate change in Eastern Australia, saying “these do not stack up. In the CSIRO  Climate Change Australia Report shows that rainfall extremes in northern NSW have only been slightly above average and  in South East Queensland they have been average. We have other rainfall records to back this up. He referenced the Brisbane river , a major flood that had happened a month before hand, saying there had been 10 floods that have been far greater over the past 150 years”(CSIRO is the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research)

The Senator added “Some of them are 1852, Gundagai in New South Wales.  – 1916, Clermont in Queensland; also  1934, Melbourne; in 1893, Ipswich, Queensland; and, in 1927, Brisbane, Cairns, and Townsville in Queensland.  The 1917 floods caused 47 deaths, destroyed 16 homes caused an estimated 300,000pounds in damages. These floods are not a new phenomenon as the Greens would have you believe.” He referenced the bushfires. “CSIRO admit there is no evidence linking climate change with bushfires, as stated in the Climate Change in Australia Report. There has been no studies explicitly attributing the Australian increase in fine weather to climate change have been performed at this time. Yet Greens, shockingly try to blame the government policies for the deaths and destruction of property fires”. Adding “it’s a tragedy for someone to lose their life, their home, their livestock and their pets in a flood or fire, we should not be politicalising this and trying to score points on the back of these tragedies”

There are natural weather events, fires, floods, tsunamis, hurricanes and cyclones as long as we have had records. Australia produces  6% of the worlds coal, 3.7% of the worlds gas and o,6%  of the worlds oil. Even if Australia were to shut down all our coal, oil and gas tomorrow it would make no difference to the temperature of the globe or to any natural disasters that the Greens try to pin on the government. He also referred to carbon dioxide emissions by country saying “ China accounts for 29%, USA 14%, India 7%, Russia 4.5%, Japan 3.4%, Germany 2% and Australia 1.1%.” China is running 1,058 coal fired power plants, more than half the worlds capacity. They emit more greenhouse gas than the entire developed world combines. But the Greens want to wreck the Australian economy and our way of life for the massive 1.1% that we contribute.

Europe as at March 2022 was currently paying Russia more than a $1 billion a day for coal, oil and gas. Europe has reduced its own gas production by 30% over the past decade, its consumption has decreased by 13%. They are reliant on Russian gas, this is completed self inflicted. This is why, when Ukraine asked Australia for help to fight Putin, they asked us to send coal, not solar panels ..by Russia with love. The Senator said “isn’t it ironic that the Greens have a slightly well hidden dirty secret.” Their campaigns are actually helped by the funding Putin provides to anti fossil fuel organizations. ‘Funded by Russia with love’. His next topic of focus was ‘food’. “We all know that the composition of fertilisers that we use in the world comes from oil and the gas industry, which the leftists want to stop. They want to step this industry with 45% of the world food production. The Greens not only want you to freeze to death they also want you to starve to death.

Senator Roberts (Queensland) said “Here we go again, the Greens, Labour, Liberal and Nationals seem to think that science occurs when someone says the words ‘the science says’. It’s a lie, a delusion, a dangerous lie and a dangerous delusion. Empirical scientific evidence, measured observations, decide science when presented within a casual framework that proves cause and effect. The Greens never present empirical scientific evidence, scientific evidence showing cause and effect.”

Assessing the Greens statement and implied claims, the senator said “Firstly their claim about increased global heating, the global atmosphere has not warmed since 1995, especially when you include analysis of natural El Nino cycles. There has been no increase for 27 years. The  longest temperature trend in the last 140 years has been the 40 years between 1936 and 1976- 40 years of cooling”. He added “It was warmer by far in Australia in the 1880s and 1890’s, far Warmer than today. Today is now cooler that 97% of the Holocene, that period of history of the last 10,000- years since the last glaciers. There is no heating –END OF STORY”. Senator Roberts also said “They make the statement that the burning of coal, gas, oil is the primary cause. Human use of hydrocarbon fuels lead to the production of water vapour, H2) and Carbon Dioxide. Water vapour has a net cooling effect on the planet. Human Carbon Dioxide is a plant food. Essential for all life on this planet, it increases plant growth as it gets higher in the atmosphere and it has a net cooling effect because of the vegetation.” He then posed the question “does human carbon dioxide affect the level of carbon dioxide in the air”?  He responded to his own question “During the global financial crisis we had a natural experiment for the whole planet. We saw 7% reduction in the level of carbon dioxide produced by human activity, industrial, transportation activity, yet the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere continued to increase. So we cut our carbon dioxide and the level of carbon dioxide increased”

The Senator referred to the 2020 secondary planetary experiment with COVID restrictions saying “There was a bigger decrease in human carbon dioxide output level yet the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere continued to increase.  Human production of carbon dioxide does not, cannot affect the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere- FULL STOP. Nature alone controls the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, regardless of what we do. Each year nature produces 32 times the level of carbon dioxide that we produce. Entire human activity is just one 32^nd of what nature produces”. .Senator Roberts stated “Nature produces 9% of earths carbon dioxide every year. The oceans contain, in dissolved form, 50 to 70 times the carbon dioxide in earths entire atmosphere. Slight cooling the ocean temperatures leads to absorption of carbon dioxide and slight warming leads to release of cardon dioxide into the atmosphere. Nature alone controls the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.  He referred to some of the statistics of floods in Brisbane and South East Queensland in the last 100 years, there were two major floods, in the previous 90years there had been 9 major floods that were in 1893 and 1841 far higher than any recent floods. In the summer of 1893 Brisbane endured 3 floods within 3 months. There was a slight decrease , flattening in frequency and severity. As for todays bushfires they are far less than in the past. Heatwaves are much shorter and much cooler than in the 18880’s, 1890’s. Senator Roberts referred to data produced by the ‘Bureau of Meteorology’

As for Reef Bleaching, he said “its natural, that record cooling in the southern Great Barrier Reef in June 2008 saw the coral bleaching, its caused by symbiosis in the corals. The Senator concluded by saying “who pays for these lies. The people of Australia, especially the poor. The lies that are dishonest, treasonous and a betrayal of Australia and Australians.

Senator Antic of South Australia presented his speech to the Senate saying “here we go again groundhog day, more alarmist rhetoric from the Australian Greens, who have chosen to take up the Senates time moving a motion straight from the mouth of the child prophet of their climate cult, Greta Thunberg.  He referred to the destroying of jobs, industries, livelihoods all across Australia, He voiced concern that if the election went Labours way, there is much more to come, because this will be a ransom for the Greens to support the Labour Government. That every bill, every motion and every vote will depend on the Greens support. He referenced petrol prices having risen dramatically since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war, climbing from $1.60 per litre in December to over $2 just 3 months later.He also said “there appears to be no slowing anytime soon. The US President Donald Trump was absolutely right to work towards making America energy independent, he understood relying on foreign powers, like Russia, China and the Middle East was not a practical option. They do not have our best interests of the West at heart. Their values are not compatible with ours, to remain dependent on energy with them is dangerous”.

The Senator added “Here in Australia we are blessed to have natural resources-oil, coal, gas and uranium. We have the resources to ensure Australia is less dependent on foreign powers. So why don’t we do it?, because we are continuing to pander to nonsense like this.The Greens Left obsession with climate change is making this country weak.. They have failed to grasp the importance of ensuring Australia’s energy independence, ignoring the fact that drilling actually can be done safely and efficiently, that it ensures that Australia does not remain precariously dependent on other nations for our energy security”. He accused the Australian Greens of having little regard for their own country, that they stand on a defence policy platform which seeks to reduce our defence spending. It’s a platform which seeks to splash defence spending at a time when the prospects of conflict are rising every single day”. Senator Roberts then added “If Labour Party make government, they will make Adam Bandt (Green Party) the foreign Minister, then they will send him off with his little hemp bag, he will sit down with Putin and Xi and they will talk about peaceful solutions- conflict resolution- Its hilarious.

On the topic of petrol he referred to Australian families who end up spending more on petrol who will endure tremendous financial strain. They will have less to spend on groceries and other basic living expenses. Petrol and Gas increase then consequently everything else does too. He said “the community are not prepared to stand up to the  petulant ‘Left’, this  movement which has been telling us for the past 50years that we are going to get mass extinction in the next decade, one decade after another. The Greens would rather have us dependent on China, Russia and the Middle East”.

The Senator also spoke about the Norwegian company Equinor that had been forced to full out of drilling in the Great Australian Bight (Sea). “The shamefully celebrating the bullying of these projects out of town, these Green Left activists should put down their French champagne, turn off the Tesla and stand up for Aussie jobs. Australian drilling should be explored, drilled for Australian good, not to aid and abet phoney crony capitalist interests of our strategic foes like the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Australians need to reject the false prophets of Green Politics. He said “we are blessed to live in Australia with its natural resources which are plentiful, yet we continue to ignore what’s available on our own doorstep just to appease climate cultists”

Senator Roberts referred to the US languishing under increased fuel prices, due to its energy dependence under Biden, who could have kept alive the Keystone XL Pipeline project which would have seen almost a million barrels of oil carried from Canada to Nebraska in one single day. The construction of the pipeline had been revived by Donald Trump after being cancelled by Obama then also to be cancelled by Biden once again. Once again the kowtowing to the Left leaves the West and countries like US in a far more vulnerable position for their non existent greater good of fighting climate change whilst they continue to completely ignore countries like China, India that pollute far more than any western country.

The Senator asked the whole  Senate “How often is the extreme left going to beat the drum of climate action in Australia?. No emissions reductions will every satisfy them, their political relevance has dropped away. Its as if green activists are actually interested not in the environment but just in their job destroying ideology”. As for the invasion of Ukraine, this has  meant that Western nations are thoroughly distancing themselves from Russia which means that a large portion of Australian oil must be sourced elsewhere or from outside Australian borders”.”

“ China has been spouting concerning rhetoric regarding Taiwan for sometime now, and the day may arise some time soon when there is an attempt at an invasion . Australia has to ensure self reliance, that we are not dependent on other countries whose values do not align with our own. Its time to stop pandering to the ideological left. There is no reason for Australia not to be energy independent. To prioritise long term national security, to secure our economy and the wellbeing of the Australian family, there is no other option. So lets start drilling the Australian Bight (Sea)”

Senator Thorpe Victoria said she had just returned from Darwin where she listened to 40 traditional owners, law people and junggavi. (Aboriginal) They told her to give the Senate the following message. “We need the govts to listen to us. We want no fracking in Beetaloo, this is our land, our future, our water, our life’ That Aunty Nancy McDinny told me to tell you that. (The promotion of Indigenous Rights through Climate Change activism). Nancy McDinny said “I’m watching you, our people are watching you and we are coming, you are on notice”. (Like NZ Indigenous- the entrenchment of the UNDRIP)

Senator Ayres NSW said “If the Green political party is going to treat this chamber like a sort of youth model of the United Nations, I prefer it if the motions were a little bit more interesting and original”. It is nothing if not predictable, we got the usual thundering speech at the beginning from the barefoot investor. He referred to the Green Party and their zero achievement. He called them the party of protest,  performance art and street theatre. It keeps them occupied I suppose”.

NOTE: RNZ Reported ‘NZ imported more than a million tonnes of dirty coal in 2020.  Ninety-two percent of the imported coal was from Indonesia, and the vast majority of that was a low grade, high emissions type – sub-bituminous

2019 NZ Geographic reported that NZ burns more imported coal than anytime in the past 15years

15^th March 2021..NZ imported just shy of 1.1 million tonnes of coal in 2020, the most since 2006.(One News)

The closing of Marsden is a huge concern. We have 14days stock of fuel. 14 days emergency stocks kept overseas (off-shore), some of this has already been used. CO2 is a by-product that was produced at Marsden, essential for many facets in NZ. Hospitals, food packaging and much more. Due to Marden closing, low grade bitumen is now used as maintenance on NZ roads.

CAROL SAKEY COMMENTS:- WOW, you would never get opposing parties, MPs in the Beehive opposing Climate Change Legislation, calling it out for what it is as they have in the Australian Senate. Hence, this  tells me just how one sided, one eyed all these MPs in New Zealand’s political  ‘Wasps Nest’ really are. (No opposition).
