Our Aim

Educate people on where this dangerous legislation is coming from and why.

Motivate/Inspire people to unite in small community groups to push back and assert their unalienable right to say “No, we do not consent!”

Facilitate people taking action to change their future by providing information, templates, tools, stories of success and methods etc

Wake Up NZ is not an organisation or a hierarchy. We work on a de-centralised model which seeks to empower local people to form their own groups and make decisions to push back in those areas which are their local priorities.

We hold Meetings throughout NZ and are available to attend gatherings of any size,
either in person or via an online meeting platform.

Robert Wilson, Fred Roberts and Heather Meri Pennycook are all involved with the Rural Sector and rural communities.

Being deeply concerned with the direction that NZ was heading in, with the erosion of our rights, freedoms, and the blatant targeting of the Agricultural Industry with impractical unworkable legislation, around freshwater, carbon, land confiscation, and the slow strangling of rural communities nationwide etc. they formed Wake Up NZ on election night 2020, when they saw that there would be no change in Policy and direction via the Government.

Wake Up NZ is a self-funded apolitical group, committed to stand up and facilitate rural people working together to stop the destruction of the Agricultural sector.
