RUDOLF STEINER SCHOOLS ARE ACCEPTED BY THE UN ‘UNESCO’ AS UNESCO ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS  ‘Rudolf Steiner -Waldorf Schools.

Here is some background history on Rudolf Steiner Schools. Steiner Schools are built on the philosophy and the founding of anthroposophy. The first school was opened in response to Emil Molt the owner, managing director of the  Waldorf Astoria Cigarette Company in Stuttgart Germany. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union Waldorf (Steiner ) Schools began to proliferate in Central & Eastern Europe, many walso opened in Asia and in particular in China

UNESCO (UN Cultural, Scientific and Educational Organization of the UN) support, promote Steiner (Waldorf) Schools. Waldorf is Steiner Schools. Many UN Nation States report the ideals, ethical principles of the Waldorf-Steiner School movement corresponds to UNESCO. UNESCO sponsored an exhibition on these schools at the 44th Education Congress in Geneva

Steiner-Waldorf report that ‘the Indigenous Waldorf Education is fully recognized and supported by  the UN (UNESCO)  Inclusive Waldorf schools today: what can we build on and what is necessary in the 21st century? The self-governing Waldorf school intended by Steiner offers the framework for implementing inclusion, enabling a participatory, open-minded education for children and adolescents in the 21st century . It is reported that UNESCO Associated Network of Schools links Educational institutions worldwide around one global common goal. Supporting international intercultural dialogue in the minds of children and young people. This is described as ‘Sustainable Developmental and Quality Education.

The Freunde der Erziehungskunst  *Our ambition is to invite Waldorf Schools worldwide to become part of the UNESCO network as UNESCO Associated Schools (ASP network) as there are many commonalities in the ideals and values of UNESCO and the practice in Waldorf Schools.   *We would like to implement a network of Waldorf UNESCO Associated Schools to connect the Waldorf UNESCO Associated Schools worldwide, to exchange experiences, knowledge and good practices with schools and communities. You can find a list of Waldorf UNESCO Associated Schools worldwide. Stating the following:-

*We take part in initiatives of the UNESCO e.g. UNESCO’s Futures of Education initiative that aims to rethink education and shape the future. The initiative is catalyzing a global debate on how knowledge, education and learning need to be reimagined in a world of increasing complexity, uncertainty, and precarity.                      *With the international students campaign Waldorf-One-World-Day, the Freunde der Erziehungskunst established a project that contributes to the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the related 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  Steiner School philosophy of Anthroposophy is a spiritual philosophy; not a religion. https://www.waldorf-salzburg.at/ – Waldorf Campus Salzburg – Rudolf Steiner Schule © 2024)

Are Steiner Schools inclusively entering  Universal Education 2030???  UN Agenda 2030 Education last year did not  match up with what the Steiner School curriculum in NZ , however both the Universal Education 2030 (UN) like Steiner Schools do both follow a spiritual type guidance.. an enlightenment rather than a Christian religious format???? Eeem I suspect that UNESCO is trying to infiltrate, embed itself in the Steiner School movement worldwide. ??? (A guess-estimate)

HE PUAPUA THE UNDRIP PLAN TO ACTION APARTHEID AND SEPERATISM IN NEW ZEALAND.

13th September 2007 under the labour Government they were totally opposed to the UNDRIP for the following reasons. But  for all these reasons that all these reasons why they rejected it, they are now supporting it, and promoting it.

In 2010 John Keys under a veil of secrecy arranged for Pita Sharples co leader of the Maori party to go to New York UN Assembly to be a representative of NZ where he adopted the UNDRIP.  The following is what he agreed upon on behalf of the peoples of New Zealand, which of course they did not even know about until after the dirty deed was done.

Iwi/Maori to have  Veto Rights over others. Control of NZ’s Natural Resources. Veto rights over the laws of Parliament. Two classes of citizenship. The UNDRIP was not compliant with the Treaty. Iwi/Maori  would have own  the entire lands of NZ, that others already legally own. The rights to redress lands (compensation) for the entire lands of New Zealand.

It was said by Rosemary Banks that represented New Zealand at the UN in 2007 that the UNDRIP is seen by others attending the UN Assembly as a document of Aspiration not a legal document to be acted upon.

He Puapua report that was commissioned by Ardern’s Cabinet in 2019. This is the action plan which includes the UNDRIP which is the hugely controversial undemocratic  Co-governance of New Zealand.

PARLIAMENT LEGIZLATED THE TE TIRITI o WAITANGI

‘The Te Tiriti o Waitangi did not create Partnerships nor Principles’

Nothing in this ACT shall permit the Crown to act in a manner that is inconsistent with the Principles of the Treaty. First tie the Principles of the Treaty had been documented) There are NO Principles in the Treaty Of Waitangi 1840.

1985 Treaty of Waitangi Amendment Act. While the 1975 Treaty of Waitangi Act was about the settlement of historical grievances, the 1985 Amendment Act was a very different matter. The recognition of iwi-Māori rather than pan-Māori as the inheritors of Treaty settlements established the reviving tribe as both political player and economic corporation.

1985 Amendment Act, Deputy Prime Minister Geoffrey Palmer agreed to Sir Hepi Te Heuheu’s request to insert the clause “Nothing in this Act shall permit the Crown to act in a manner that is inconsistent with the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi” into Section 9 of the State-owned Enterprises Act 1986. This is the first reference in legislation or policy to the principles of the Treaty – indeed, the first indication that the Treaty has principles. Parliament did not define the principles — an unconscionable failure which opened the way for the courts and government officials to determine what is probably one of the most important political events of the 20th century. Treaty principles, including that of partnership, now appear in almost all legislation.

1987 Court of Appeal decision stating that the Treaty established a relationship “akin to a partnership”. Although the judges likened it to the obligation partners in a partnership had they did not say that the Treaty actually created a partnership. Nor did it. However, “partnership” was quickly picked up by the Waitangi Tribunal and by the 1987 Iwi Leaders’ Forum. From that time this powerful interest group has achieved enormous success in claiming constitutional change and ownership rights. “Partnership” is the justification. The possibility that the He Puapua Report will be implemented either in full or modified form demonstrates the group’s success to date.

THE MAORI CROWN ‘PORTFOLIO’

18th September 2018 The Maori Crown Agency was to be established. Speaker in the House was Kelvin Davis ‘Maori-Crown: Te Arawhiti’

Cabinet has approved the final scope of the Māori Crown portfolio and agreed to establish an agency to oversee Government’s work with Māori in a post-settlement era, announced Crown/ Māori Relations Minister Kelvin Davis today.

“The agency, to be called the Office for Māori Crown Relations: Te Arawhiti, will help facilitate the next step in the Treaty relationship – moving beyond the settlement of Treaty grievances into what it means to work together in partnerships,” Kelvin Davis said.

“The name reflects feedback from the hui that Māori should appear first in the relationship. Te Arawhiti, refers to the transition phase we are in, that is ‘the bridge’ between Māori and the Crown.

“Several other Government units and offices will be consolidated into the agency, including the Crown/Māori Relations Unit, the Office of Treaty Settlements, the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Team and the Settlement Commitments Unit. The consolidation will bring a sharper focus and efficiency to the Government’s work with Māori.”

In addition to finishing Treaty Settlements and Marine and Coastal Area applications, the new agency, based on the new scope of the Māori Crown portfolio, will provide strategic leadership across the public sector to:

  • ensure the Crown meets its Treaty obligations;
  • develop a new engagement model and guidelines for the Government and public sector;
  • co-design partnerships, principles and frameworks to ensure that agencies generate the best solutions to issues affecting Māori;
  • ensure public sector capability is strengthened across the board;
  • provide a cross Government view on the health of the Māori Crown partnerships;
  • provide strategic leadership on contemporary Treaty issues;
  • other matters including the constitutional and institutional arrangements supporting partnerships between the Crown and Māori: and
  • continue to take the lead in organising significant Māori and Crown events, ie Waitangi Day.

“While there are still some Treaty grievances to settle, I heard from many Māori how they want to engage with the Crown on a range of issues that look to the future.

“Together, Māori and the Crown want this portfolio to be about aspiration, and looking forward, in the post-settlement era,” Kelvin Davis said
